Shopping is child's play at Land Securities' shopping centres - and in promoting their centres as family-friendly destinations through an innovative kids' marketing campaign, we not only secured extensive media coverage but directly increased footfall.
For more than a decade, we have led kids' event management for Land Securities, organising everything from music workshops and storytelling sessions, to live performances by X Factor star Leon Jackson and Britain's Got Talent dancing supremo George Sampson.
Creating an integrated kids' marketing campaign featuring social media, PR, and events; we secured media coverage in the regional press, national press, and broadcast media.
As well as strengthening links with the public on a local, regional and national level, we also directly increased the number of families visiting the shopping centres.
Children's Christmas wish list
We were as excited as a kid at Christmas when Land Securities asked us to devise an all-encompassing kids' PR and marketing strategy to create and promote their 'Children's Christmas Wish List'.
So we enlisted the experts - school kids - to form an official testing panel complete with lab coats and clipboards. We liaised with key retailers, secured products for the children to test, and gathered their feedback to enable us to compile a top 10 wish list of 'must-have' toys.
With coverage in all national press, the kids' marketing campaign was a huge success and ensured we stayed off Santa's naughty list for another year.
